As 2020 turns out to be
such an horrific year so far I am, as so many other colleagues,
forced to re-asses all my musical activities.
Great shows with
AUGUST LIFE and
THE DUTCH DISCIPLESwere/are cancelled and/or
resceduled and as plans made for 2020 are now on hold all energy
will go in making AUGUST LIFE's successor for NEW ETERNITY the
best effort by the band so far...
and... we are making great
plans for 2021 as we speak. So no DEAD END... we will be
back... with a very nice surprise soon!

CHAPTER CLOSED!
After 17 year
of loyal duty I decided to quit HIGHWAY CHILE. I had great
moments with this band but it is time to move on to expand my
musical endeavors.
After the KEEPER OF THE EARTH release in 2008 inspiration and
motivation to continue the progress made by making a successor
of this great album was not carried by the whole band .
Consequently we went on for a fair amount of years without
really having much to add to the legacy. We kept gigging and
some very nice shows were done the past years together as a band
and we certainly had fun moments.
Needless to say , however, my creative ambitions were cut
short so I really needed to evolve musically and keep writing.
As a consequence the stunning new Progressive Hard Rock /
Metal actAUGUST LIFE
became effective in 2018.
Over time you realize you grow in different directions
and unfortunately the direction HIGHWAY CHILE is choosing is not
for me.
I wish the guys in the band the best of luck. I am sure we will
see each other again on the road after we have overcome the
present unreal reality of COVID-19!
